The SNB Visa CheckCard is a debit card. You can use it like a check to make purchases with Point of Sales transactions (POS) or with PIN (Personal Identification Number) transactions.  You can also use it like an ATM card to get cash. Purchases made with the CheckCard are automatically deducted from your primary checking account. The funds can be withdrawn from your account immediately. Using your Visa CheckCard can speed up your payment process at a retailer's checkstand, it can give you the freedom to carry one card instead of having to carry an ATM card and a checkbook.  It can decrease the amount of paper checks you have to purchase, thus saving you money.
